RACE 1 – KRIDEN PARK LADY DRIVER INVITATIONAL – 1730 metres
MOVES LIKE MIKI – Pre-race blood sample.
GEM N EM NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
LUCKY PUNT – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 170 metres.
RACE 2 – HONDO GRATTAN SPRINT – 1730 metres
MEGS BOY NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
REBOUNDER – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running approaching the 200 metres.
FIRESTORM RED – Pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
RACE 3 – SMOOTH SATIN PACING CUP – 2260 metres
PAS DE CHEVAL – Hung out in the score up.
SAINT VERAN – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running via the sprint lane.
OUR GEROGE BOSTON – Over raced throughout the event.
FASHION ICON – Galloped out and will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.
SMOOTH BUZZ – Pre-race blood sample.
RIPP – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 4 – ALABAR FARMS GOLD CROWN ENTIRES AND GELDINGS GRADUATE PACE – 1730 metres
BUDDY BRILLIANCE – Pre-race blood sample. Broke after the start and in view of the recent record of the gelding will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw. Became unbalanced and broke gait passing the 250 metres for which a warning was issued. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
CARBAGANOOSH – Held up for clear running and not fully tested.
ALLSTARZZZ FRANKIE – Post-race swab sample.
SEVEN TEE TWO – Checked after the start as a result of BUDDY BRILLIANCE breaking gait.
RACE 5 – BOWYER AND LIVERMORE HONOUREE STAKES FINAL – 1730 metres
DANIBOY – Approaching the 300 metres became unbalanced and broke gait for which a warning was issued. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
BEYOND DOUBT NZ – Post-race swab sample.
BANKSY NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 6 – BOWYER AND LIVERMORE HONOUREE STAKES CONSOLATION – 1730 metres
GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ – Driver Blake Micallef was questioned in regard to the overall performance of the gelding after working forward to a position outside the leader GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ tired to be beaten 90.3 metres. Mr Micallef explained the gelding had to work harder than anticipated in the early stages of the event and felt that may have contributed to the overall disappointing performance. Given the overall performance of the gelding, GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ will now be required to perform one requalifying trial. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
VINTAGE EDITION – Approaching the 250 metres was held up for clear running before having its hind leg contacted by ART OF TERROR when that runner hung in slightly causing VINTAGE EDITION to be checked and raced roughly before shifting out and contacting the off side sulky wheel of ART OF TERROR resulting in the driver of that runner, Charli Masotti, to be dislodged from her sulky.
BORROWED TIME – Post-race swab sample.
NICELY SPOKEN – Pre-race blood sample. Driver Jett Turnbull was questioned regarding the overall performance of the gelding after working forward to the lead NICELY SPOKEN failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten into 8th position beaten 20.7 metres. Mr Turnbull explained that NICELY SPOKEN worked harder than expected in the early stages to gain the lead, although he was able to get some respite the gelding failed to run on. Mr Turnbull felt the overall performance of NICELY SPOKEN was disappointing.
ART OF TERROR – Approaching the 250 metres when racing in a three wide position, hung in slightly contacting the off side hind leg of VINTAGE EDITION causing that runner to be checked and raced roughly and as a result shifted out slightly contacting the near side wheel of ART OF TERROR resulting in Driver Charli Masotti being dislodged from the sulky. Post-race paramedics cleared Miss Masotti of any serious injury, however she was taken to hospital for further examanation. A post-race veterinary examination of ART OF TERROR revealed no obvious abnormalities.
HOLY CAMP DILLON – Inconvenienced approaching the 250 metres as a result of Charli Masotti being dislodged from the sulky.
RACE 7 – ALABAR FARMS GOLD TIARA SILVER CONSOLATION – 1730 metres
KISS BEFORE TWELVE – Pre-race blood sample.
JEWEL REASON – Raced roughly approaching the first turn.
FEROCIOUS LOVER – Passing the 250 metres hung in and contacted marker pegs. Post-race swab sample.
REASON TO BE HAPPY – Rounding the first turn became unbalanced and broke gait and will now be required to perform one requalifying trial.
RACE 8 – ALABAR FARMS GOLD TIARA BRONZE CONSOLATION – 1730 metres
OUR SWEEHEART – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
SMOOTH PENNY – Hung in in the score up and broke after the start. Will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.
