RACE 1 – TAB.COM.AU PACE – 1660 metres
CLARENDEN VINTAGE – Over-raced when racing outside of the leader during the early and middle stages. Tired to be beaten 94m, with a post-race veterinary examination failing to reveal any abnormalities. CLARENDEN VINTAGE was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.
CHILLAX – Driver K Dean was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for tightening the racing room of RIP ROCK between CHILLAX and JESSEJAMES SHANNON racing into the first turn. Sulky contacted leaving the 500m when RIP ROCK commenced to over race.
LIMBO LENNY – Leaving the 500m was checked and locked wheels with RIP ROCK, when that runner commenced to over-race and shifted out marginally. Due to the severe check was shortly after retired from the event.
JESSEJAMES SHANNON – Post-race sample. Hung out racing into the first turn when racing along the marker peg line.
RIP ROCK – Tightened for racing room racing into the first turn between JESSEJAMES SHANNON and CHILLAX. Commenced to over-race leaving the 600m and raced up onto and contacted the sulky of CHILLAX. Shortly after shifted out, despite the efforts of Driver J Morris and as a result locked wheels with LIMBO LENNY, which was unable to avoid interference. Driver J Morris was dislodged from the sulky resulting in RIP ROCK continuing driverless until being captured by the Clerk of Course. Subsequently Driver Morris was examined by the on-course paramedics and cleared of any serious injuries. A post-race veterinary examination of RIP ROCK failed to reveal any abnormalities.
RACE 2 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1660 metres
BUTTER CUP – Post-race sample.
JILLIBY SAFFRON – Pre-race sample.
GET UP BETTY – Cast a shoe racing down the back straight on the final occasion.
RACE 3 – PARKES LEAGUES CLUB PACE – 2040 metres
The All Clear was delayed allowing Driver O Frisby, driver of second placegetter REASON TO PARTY, the opportunity to view the available replays. Upon review O Frisby declined the opportunity to exercise her rights to protest and All Clear was announced.
MY ULTIMATE LUCIUS – Hung out at various stages when leading the event. Upon straightening for the run to the finish, shifted away from the marker pegs allowing an inside run for HAZZA IS WATCHING. A warning was issued against the racing manners of MY ULTIMATE LUCIUS.
REASON TO PARTY – Hung in approaching the 300m tightening the racing room of DUFFY HOLLOW NZ between REASON TO PARTY and HAPPY TULHURST.
HAPPY TULHURST – Inconvenienced in the home straight on the final occasion when MY ULTIMATE LUCIUS shifted out.
DUFFY HOLLOW NZ – Over-raced during the early and middle stages. Tightened for racing room approaching the 300m between REASON TO PARTY, which hung in and HAPPY TULHURST. DUFFY HOLLOW NZ galloped a short time afterwards.
HAZZA IS WATCHING – Post-race sample. Obtained an inside run approaching the finish when MY ULTIMATE LUCIUS shifted away from the marker pegs.
DRIVE TO THE BEACH – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
DEEPWATER CAM – Pre-race sample.
RACE 4 – TERRY BROTHERS PARKES PACE – 1660 metres
The start of this race was delayed owing to Race 2 Gloucester Park harness running behind schedule.
CHANSU – Post-race sample.
COUNT MONTECARLO – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to not having started in a race since April 2025. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
ENZED FLYER – Driver N Townsend was reprimanded under Rule 168(1)(a) for allowing his drive to shift out marginally leaving the back straight on the final occasion. Inconvenienced ZOLTON which was attempting to shift wider when trailing ENZED FLYER.
GABBYS SPORTSTAR – Pre-race sample. Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
CAPTAIN LLANFAIR – Pulled hard in the score up.
ZOLTON – Contacted the sulky of ENZED FLYER leaving the back straight on the final occasion. Held up for clear racing room and was unable to be fully tested at any stage to the finish.
RACE 5 – C & S STOCKFEEDS PACE – 1660 metres
YA RACIN DASH – Initially showed gate speed before galloping racing around the first turn. Trailed to field for the remainder and a warning was issued against the racing manners of YA RACIN DASH.
WOKKA ROCK – Post-race sample.
TAKE ME TOO – Gave ground to be beaten 41m.
MONSTER MINT – Checked at the 400m when taken back through the field by TAKE ME TOO, which was giving ground.
HARVEYS TOOTH – Inconvenienced in the vicinity of the 1200m when YA RACIN DASH galloped.
AUGUST STAR – Pre-race sample.
RACE 6 – WARATAH HEAT – 1660 metres
CATCH THE SHARK – Caught racing three wide during the early stages. Driver B Blythe was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for directing his drive into a two wide position ahead of HARJAYBRO at the 1100m when insufficiently clear.
KADAR – Held up for clear racing room and unable to be fully tested at any stage in the run to the finish.
HARJAYBRO – Inconvenienced at the 1100m when CATCH THE SHARK shifted in when insufficiently clear.
FORESIGHT – Pre-race sample.
SUNSET JAY JAY – Hung in upon entering the home straight before racing in close proximity to the sulky of TULHURST TIMMY. Galloped a short time later and a warning was issued against the racing manners of the mare.
RACE 7 – DEANS HYDRAULICS PACE – 1660 metres
YARRAMIN TILLY – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.
CAM I AM – Over-raced during the early and middle stages when caught racing three wide. Driver T Glazebrook explained that during the score up the gelding commenced to contact its own sulky wheels. This resulted in CAM I AM commencing to race fierce, after being caught wide and it being apparent that there was no position in the forward half of the field it was elected to restrain to gain a position closer to the marker pegs at the rear of the field. However due to the racing manners of CAM I AM it was unable to be restrained to the rear of the field, resulting in the gelding racing wide throughout before giving ground.
RACE 8 – QUICKSHINECARWASH 3YO PACE – 1660 metres
STUDLEIGH SANDY – Leaving the back straight on the final occasion was tightened for racing room when racing along the marker pegs. Galloped a short time later before then shifting out and making contact with the sulky of STRINGER LASS.
JUST KEEP CHIMING – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample. Paced roughly racing around the first turn when leading.
BETTOR INTHE DARK – Broke a right spreader before galloping at the 300m.
ARMA BITABLING – Galloped racing down the back straight on the first occasion. Connections were advised that the filly was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.
WICKED STRIKE – Inconvenienced at the 300m when BETTOR INTHEDARK galloped.
STRINGER LASS – Contacted the sulky of STUDLEIGH SANDY, when being tightened between that runner and WICKED STRIKE, resulting in Driver M Rue momentarily being dislodged from the sulky.
RACE 9 – SECOND CHANCE DRAW PACE – 1660 metres
Shortly after the start AARON MINT galloped, shifted outwards and fell to the track, dislodging Driver M Wood. Due to AARON MINT laying prone on the track the race fall siren was sounded. All runners with the exemption of AARON MINT were vetted and passed suitable to race prior to the second attempt of the event. AARON MINT was declared a late scratching at 10:30pm by Order Of Stewards.
JUST HOME GROWN NZ – Led the event before giving ground to be beaten 26m. Driver J Turnbull advised that JUST HOME GROWN NZ over-raced when leading which contributed to the performance.
TULHURST ELVIS – Post-race sample.
AARON MINT – At the first attempt galloped after the start, shifted out and fell to the track. Was declared a late scratching at 10:30pm. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be suffering from back soreness. Acting upon veterinary advice AARON MINT was stood down for a period of seven days, until a satisfactory veterinary clearance and until the completion of one satisfactory trial. AARON MINT was also placed right outside the mobile barrier draw. Driver M Wood was cleared of any serious injuries by the on-course paramedics.
STUDLEIGH STARLITE – Pre-race sample. Galloped after the start at the second attempt and will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.
