RACE 1 – MEDOWIE LODGE PACE – 1609 metres

BRING YOUR BEST – Pre-race sample was taken.  Post-race sample was taken.

ROCKNROLL TONY – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  Driver D Murphy under rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position on the mobile prior to the start being affected.

REIGN MAKER – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested. 

ULTIMATE TROUBLE – Broke stride during the middle stages of the score up and was out of position as the start was affected.  Connections were advised that it will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 2 – ARTISTIC LODGE PACE – 1609 metres

HEEZ REASONABLE – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

ULTIMATE RHAPSODY – Pre-race sample was taken.

WAR WESTERN – Driver B Elder was fined the sum of $50 under rule 162(1)(i) for failing to come up into position prior to the candy pole.

RADIANT AMBER – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

JILLIBY AMIGO – Post-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 3 – VALE KEN GIGGINS – 2030 metres

HYDEEHO NZ – Pre-race sample was taken.  Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance.

LOU WILL NZ – Post-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 4 – PETER PAYNE WONDER YEARS 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

FEARFUL – Pre-race sample was taken.

LEWIE KELLY – Post-race sample was taken.

SILENT FEARS – Had a tendency to hang in as the field negotiated the final turn.

 

RACE 5 – MITAVITE PACE – 1609 metres

NO NOTHEBUTTONS – Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.

SAINT CRUSADER – Pre-race sample was taken.

ROCKTAGONAL – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  Post-race sample was taken.

KANENA PROVLIMA – Stewards intend to inquire into the driving tactics of driver K Morris.  Due to driver K Morris vacating the course the inquiry was adjourned.

 

RACE 6 – COBBITTY EQUINE FARM PACE – 2030 metres

GRUMPYSHANNON – Hampered as the field raced inside the final 500 metres when trailing weakening runners. 

ERROL FIN – Weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.

WATTLEBANK ARNIE NZ – Pre-race sample was taken.

MISS BLUE STORK – Post-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 7 – ALABAR AUSTRALIA PACE – 1609 metres

PIXIEBELLE – Broke stride shortly after the start was affected.  A warning was issued.

THE OCEAN SPIRIT NZ – Pre-race sample was taken.  Had a tendency to hang in rounding the final turn and raced roughly for some distance and gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.

FRANKIROMAR – Post-race sample was taken.

NEED FOUR SPEED – Checked shortly after the start was affected.

 

RACE 8 – WOODLANDS STUD SHUTTLING THE WORLDS BEST SIRES PACE – 1609 metres

ADDOCAR – Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages of the event when racing behind the leader.

ALWAYS PROMISE ME – Post-race sample was taken.

ROCKNROLL ROCKET – Hung out for a short distance prior to entering the home straight for the run to the finish.

PEPPI GRATZ – Broke stride as the field negotiated the first turn.  Connections were advised it would be stood down until it can requalify on one occasion.

PAD THAI – Checked and raced roughly as the field negotiated the first turn.

WUNDERLAND – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

RAINBOWSEND – Pre-race sample was taken.  Had a tendency to race roughly as the field raced down the back straight on the final occasion when commencing to weaken.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.  Connections were advised given the performance it would be stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.

 

RACE 9 – HARNESS BREEDERS NSW / REPRESENTING THE INDUSTRY PACE – 2030 metres

DAZZLING GEMS – Pre-race sample was taken.  Had a tendency to hang out inside the final 600 metres. 

SUMMER SCHOOL – Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages of the event.  Post-race sample was taken.

SEASIDE SATISFIED – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten some distanc.e
