RACE 1 – IRONVITA PACE – 1609 metres

HUGO MAGUIRE NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Held up in the early stage of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 150 metres.

MINOS NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

JORGE STREET – Post-race blood sample.

RACE 2 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres

IMA QUEEN BEE – Tired badly over the final 900 metres of the event to finish in 10th placing beaten 253 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be suffering from atrial fibrillation and given this was the mares second occurrence, it was stood down in accordance with Rule 101C for a period of 28 days, the completion of an ECG and 2 requalifying trials.

MISSADUDACIOUS – Checked between the 900 metres and the 700 metres by the tiring IMA QUEEN BEE. Held up over the final 75 metres of the home straight and not fully tested.

SUGAR PIE HONEY – Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Post-race swab sample.

TOKYO ROSE NZ – Trainer Jason Grimson was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to lodge a gear notification for the mare. Worked forward to the lead passing the 900 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

SOHO AMERICANO – Pre-race blood sample. Driver Michael Stanley was fined $100 under Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position behind the mobile barrier prior to the start point.

RACE 3 – TAB PACE – 1609 metres

CYNICAL – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race blood sample.

ISLA ROCHELLE – Pre-race blood sample.

SPIRIT OF ANARCHY NZ – Over raced approaching the 500 metres and contacted the rear of the sulky of PETES CRUNH TIME and as a result raced roughly.

RACE 4 – CLUB MENANGLE GO GIRLFRIEND FINAL – 1609 metres

WHERE BACK – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1000 metres after previously surrendering.

BETITNE – Pre-race blood sample.

FLOJOS BEST – Pre-race blood sample.

SEASIDE BOULEVARD – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres. Post-race swab sample.

SNAP SHOT NZ – Improved three wide from the 900 metres until a point passing the 800 metres.

RACE 5 – PRYDE’S RACING CUBE PACE – 1609 metres

ALTA WILLIAM – Pre-race blood sample.

CAPTAINS MISTRESS NZ – Worked forward to the lead approaching the 1000 metres. Post-race swab sample.

HI MANAMEISJEFF NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres.

RACE 6 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 2300 metres

PARTY CENTRAL NZ – Trainer Jason Grimson was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to lodge a gear notification for the gelding. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1550 metres.

INDASKY NZ – Held up in the early stage of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 150 metres.

NICELY SPOKEN – Stewards questioned Driver Luke McCarthy with regards to the performance of the gelding which tired over the concluding stages of the event to finish in 10th placing beaten 53 metres. Mr McCarthy advised Stewards the gelding raced keenly but was otherwise unable to explain the performance. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the recent record of the gelding, it was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial. 

ACTION MAJOR NZ - Trainer KerryAnn Morris was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to lodge a gear notification for the gelding. Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

WITHDISTINCTION – Over raced throughout the middle stages.

SAO PAULO SIMBA – Pre-race blood sample. Improved three wide from the 1900 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1800 metres. Stewards questioned Driver Michael Stanley with regards to the performance of the gelding which weakened over the concluding stages to finish in 9th placing beaten 29 metres. Mr Stanley advised Stewards in his opinion the gelding was very plain after having trialled nicely in preparation for its first start since November 2025. Mr Stanly further advised, in his opinion the gelding had pulled up well from the run, however he would look to have blood tests taken early in the week to determine the immediate racing plans of the gelding and indicated he would advise Stewards of the results when available. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the explanation provided by Mr Stanley, Stewards determined to note his comments.

RACE 7 – IRT HORSE TRANSPORT 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

SOHO WASHINGTON – Stewards questioned Driver Luke McCarthy with regards to the performance of the colt which finished in 8th placing beaten 42 metres. Mr McCarthy was unable to provide an explanation for the performance of the colt other than to advise that he felt it may be better placed at the provincial meetings. A post-race veterinary examination of the colt failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the recent record of the colt, a warning was issued.

ENJABONARLO – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Post-race swab sample.

SOHO PIASTRI – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1000 metres.

ALERT BAY – Pre-race blood sample.

MESSAGE BANK – Pre-race blood sample. Trainer David Hewitt was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late notification of Scott Hewitt as the gelding. Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1200 metres.

RACE 8 – FOR A RESON STANDING AT COBBITTY EQUINE FARM TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres

PARAMOUNT KIWI NZ – Broke after the start. After considering the recent record of the gelding, it was placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

I AM HELLBOUND – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

SPEEDY LOVER - Pre-race blood sample.

WATTS UP PARTYTIME – Worked forward to the lead approaching the 1200 metres.

CONSTANTINOPLE – Worked forward to the lead approaching the 1100 metres.

RAKIRO BLAZE NZ – Broke stride during the latter stages of the score up and as a result was out of position and took no competitive part in the event. After considering the recent record of the mare, it will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

RACE 9 – FATHER NUNO @ WINGATE FARM 3YO FILLIES PACE – 1609 metres

THREETWONINE – Trainer KerryAnn Morris was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to lodge a gear notification for the filly. Trainer KerryAnn Morris was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late notification of herself as the driver of the filly.

FAKE FRIENDS – Broke stride free of interference upon entry to the first turn. After considering the recent record of the filly, it was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.

WHITBYS DELIGHT NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

STAR TO FALL – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

RACE 10 – SUCCESS STUD PACE – 1609 metres

DOUBLE ACT – Tired over the concluding stages to finish inn 10th placing beaten 78 metres. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to be suffering from atrial fibrillation and in accordance with Rule 101C it was stood down for a period of 14 days, the completion of an ECG and one requalifying trial.

RAVISHING SLOY – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

DOM TORETTO NZ – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 1000 metres.
