RACE 1 – STARDUST CIRCUS @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND PACE – 1720 metres

KATLAS DREAM – Pre-race blood sample. Passing the 200 metres was inclined to hang in and contacted marker pegs.

DILETTO – Unable to secure running until passing the 100 metres.

STELLINA – Over raced during the middle stages.

PETES BIG JIM – It was noted post-race the gelding had cast its near fore plate during the event.

NITRO DANNY - Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.

EYEKNOW – Post-race swab sample.

CHARLIES ACE NZ – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight. When questioned regarding the tactics employed on CHARLIES ACE NZ from the 500 metres, Driver R Morris explained with the benefit of hindsight he had erred by shifting in approaching the 400 metres, however at the time he made the decision the runners around him appeared to be under pressure and he was hopeful he would be able to save ground and improve underneath EYEKNOW and then shift that runner wider. However, that runner maintained its position better than expected which negated his initial plan. R Morris’s explanation was noted.

DAVOLAS LEGACY NZ – Unable to secure clear running until shifting wider leaving the 150 metres.

 

RACE 2 – BINGO @ CLUB PACEWAY EVERY WEDNESDAY PACE – 1720 metres

BLACKJACK BART – Pre-race blood sample.

HAPPY TOO YA – Post-race swab sample.

KEAYANG SANTIAGO – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside the leader near the 1300 metres.

THE CID – Improved three wide during the early stages before crossing to the position outside the leader near the 1100 metres.

BOULEVARDOFDREAMS – Leaving the 600 metres was hampered behind BLACKJACK BART which failed to quicken and subsequently BOULEVARDOFDREAMS lost ground and was unable to secure clear running at any stages over the concluding stages.

 

RACE 3 – MARKETS @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND EVERY THURSDAY PACE – 1720 metres

RICK REILLY NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

THE METAL FLYER – Hung out when placed under pressure over the concluding stages. Post-race swab sample.

MAJOR ICON NZ – Caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside the leader near the 1200 metres.

 

RACE 4 – MAJOR OAK THEATRE RESTAURANT PACE – 1720 metres

MICK DANGER – Shortly after the start ad to be steadied away from ALTA SIERRA which layed in.

ALTA SIERRA – Hung in after the start. A warning was issued. Inclined to hang in when placed under pressure over the concluding stages. Unable to secure clear running until passing the 100 metres.

GIPSY PRINCESS – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward.

PROMISING – Unable to secure clear running in the latter stages of the home straight and was not fully tested.

LACEYS LAD NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

DOUBLE IT HARRY – Improved three wide in the early stages until crossing forward to the position outside the leader. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 5 – FISHO’S RAFFLES @ CLUB PACEWAY EVERY FRIDAY PACE – 2125 metres

ULTIMATE WEAPON NZ – Broke gait at the start. A warning was issued.

WINGMAN LOU – Post-race swab sample.

NOTHINGBUTWAVES – Pre-race blood sample. Shortly after the start was hampered by ULTIMATE WEAPON NZ which broke gait.

 

RACE 6 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1720 metres

EBBONY STORM – Unable to secure running until leaving the 100 metres.

DELIGHTFULLY SWEET – Improved three wide in the early stages until crossing to the lead near the 1300 metres.

LEAVE IT TO LUCY – Improved three wide in the early stages before crossing to the position outside the leader leaving the 1200 metres.

ONEDINS CRUSADE – Pre-race blood sample. Fractious in the score up and commenced to buck and failed to settle. Subsequently, Driver C Hart directed the filly to the infield and retired her from the event. Stewards were satisfied ONEDINS CRUSADE did commence to score up and was subsequently declared a starter. Connections were advised ONEDINS CRUSADE will receive a warning for the start and would be stood down from racing until it can complete one satisfactory official trial.

TIGER EUPHEME – Broke gait shortly after the start. A warning was issued.

TRIED AND TRUSTED – Shortly after the start had to be steadied away from TIGER EUPHEME which broke gait.

 

RACE 7 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1720 metres

GET US A TINNY – Pre-race blood sample.

ADIRADIVA – Raced roughly throughout the event and commenced to give ground leaving the 1200 metres. Shortly after the mare broke gait. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Connections were advised ADIRADIVA would be stood down from racing until it can complete one satisfactory official trial.

DYNAMITE DANNI – Post-race swab sample.

MAJOR AUSTIN – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 110 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Connections were advised MAJOR AUSTIN would be stood down from racing until it can complete one satisfactory official trial. 

GREY CADILLAC - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside the leader near the 1400 metres. Pressed on to the lead near the 1100 metres. Post-race swab sample.
