RACE 1 – CARNIVAL OF CUPS 6 NOVEMBER PACE – 1740 metres
SIR VINCENT – ($7.50) Driver Harrison Ross was queried into the seemingly poor performance of the gelding which finished in 8th position beaten 24m after leading. Mr Ross advised the gelding to be extremely disappointing and contributed the performance to the pressure applied during the middle stages and the quicker second quarter 28.4 seconds. Mr Ross advised the stable would now look to drive the gelding more conservatively going forward.

RACE 2 – NIJINSKY STANDING AT YIRRIBEESTUD SUPER MAIDEN – 2270 metres
SHES A SWINGA – Checked & broke gait passing the 300m when MAJOR EASTWOOD hung outwards and raced roughly.
MAJOR EASTWOOD – Pre-race swab. Hung outwards on all corners throughout the event. Hung outwards and contacted the sulky wheel of VIENNA OPERA passing the 300m racing roughly severely checking SHES A SWINGA & OUR ULTIMATE JANE which were trailing. MAJOR EASTWOOD will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion. In not taking more action stewards were mindful MAJOR EASTWOOD was having its first start for a new trainer.
SERGEANT STRINGER – Broke gait during the early stages of the score up however was in position when the start was effected. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of SERGEANT STRINGER.
IN THE SUMMERTIME NZ – Hung inwards under pressure Driver Jackson Painting was spoken too in the manner he applied pressure to the reins after passing the line. Post-race swab.
OUR ULTIMATE JANE – Checked & broke gait passing the 300m when MAJOR EASTWOOD hung outwards and raced roughly.
RACE 3– STEEL SUPPLIES PACE – 1740 metres
ZUESS – Slow out. Raced roughly passing the 1300m. Inconvenienced & tightened for racing room passing the 300m when TIGER CHEDDAR hung inwards when giving ground.
BARWEN STORM – Post-race swab.
TIGER CHEDDAR – ($31.00) Driver Roger Strong was queried into the seemingly poor performance of the gelding which finished in 10th and last position beaten 41.5m after racing outside the leader from passing the 1400m. Mr Strong advised the gelding was not suited racing without cover which was the main factor the geldings performance.

RACE 4 – TASCO PETROLEUM PACE – 1740 metres
RAKADEAKS NZ – Pre-race swab.
BERRYLICIOUS – Post-race swab.
RACE 5 – WOODLANDS STUD PACE – 1740 metres
SHALLOW POCKETS – Pre-race swab.
CRIMSON ROCK NZ – Pre-race swab.
JAKRYAN – Held up and failed to gain clear running for the entire length of the home straight.
THE CLOCK WINDER – Inconvenienced passing the 400m when GLENBURNS WATERS shifted up the track.
GLENBURNS WATERS – Broke gait after the start was effected. GLENBURNS WATERS will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start events. Driver Jack Stockton was issued a reprimand for shifting ground passing the 400m which inconvenienced THE CLOCK WINDER.
HES A TERROR – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. Post-race swab.
RACE 6 – RIVERINA SIGNMAKERS PACE– 1740 metres
ROSES ARE BEST – Hung inwards approaching the 200m & locked wheels with GLAMORS SYMBOL. A warning was issued against the racing manners of ROSES ARE BEST.
GLAMORS SYMBOL – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the mare having started in excess of 200 starts & attaining the age of 12 years or older. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. Locked wheels with ROSES ARE BEST approaching the 200m prior to yielding ground rapidly thereafter to finish in 10th and last position beaten 37.7m.
OKTOLOVE – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started attained the age of 12 years or older. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.
SPREAD THE FEAR – Post-race swab.
KEAYANG LADYBUG – Severely Checked & contacted marker pegs approaching the 200m when ROSES ARE BEST & GLAMORS SYMBOL locked wheels.
NOYTADOUBT – Pre-race swab. Severely Checked approaching the 200m when ROSES ARE BEST & GLAMORS SYMBOL locked wheels.
RACE 7 – ATWORTHY PARK STANDARDBREDS 3YO PACE – 1740 metre
General: Stewards prior to the All Clear reviewed the leader & overall winner HAPPY HAPPY DAYS racing inside the line of four (4) marker pegs rounding the final turn & if the filly gained any advantaged. Stewards were satisfied HAPPY HAPPY DAYS albeit racing inside marker pegs the filly did not gain any advantage and declared the All Clear on the judges’ numbers.
IDEAL LILLY – Broke gait during the latter stages of the score up. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of IDEAL LILLY.
HAPPY HAPPY DAYS – Driver Roger Strong was fined the sum of $100 under AHR Rule 163(1)(c)(i) for permitting the filly to shift inside the line for maker pegs rounding the final turn when attempting to activate removable gear upon the filly. Post-race swab.

RACE 8 – D & L EARTHMOVING PACE– 1740 metres
WRONG ANSWER – Pre-race swab.
THE GREAT WAVE – Post-race swab.
RACE 9 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE– 1740 metres
ATOMIK GO ANNA – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.
ANYONEFORADRINK – ($21.00) Raced fiercely from the start until reaching the 1000m despite the drivers’ efforts to restrain the filly to rearward position when racing three (3) wide. Driver Codi Rauchenberger advised the filly was striking the sulky wheels with its hind legs causing ANYONEFORADRINK to race fiercely prior to yielding ground from the 500m to finish in 9th and last position beaten 83m. As the comments of Ms Rauchenberger were verified on the available replays. Stewards were satisfied to the racing manners of ANYONEFORADRINK was the main factor to its performance & advised connections ANYONEFORADRINK will now be placed on its last chance to race truly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly displaying a delayed recovery.

PAUL ADAM – Held up and failed to gain clear running for the entire length of the home straight. Back in mobile draw.
