RACE 1 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1609 metres.
WHAT AGAIN SHANNON – Crowded passing the 900 metres when racing tight on the inside of HEY DUDE, which shifted in momentarily when not quite clear. Subsequently K Glasby the driver of HEY DUDE was reprimanded under AR 163(1)(a)(iii).
ZACHAROONI – post-race swab sample.
ELLIE RIPPIN – Raced in restricted room rounding the home turn, then was held up in the early part of the home straight.
LOOKAT MEE – pre-race blood sample. Raced roughly during the score up.
DOUBLE LINES – Out of position when the start was affected. Considering all the circumstances no action was taken.
RACE 2 – R U OK DAY PACE – 1609 metres
LAINE CRUSADER – Weakened noticeably over the concluding stages and tailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly was uneven in its hind gait and had a nasal discharge. Connections were advised that prior to racing again LAINE CRUSADER must undergo a veterinary examination to determine its fitness and perform competitively in an official qualifying trial.
SOFT LANDING – Broke stride during the score up and galloped for a short distance. Trainer/driver Mr T Ison was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record. Post-race swab sample.
MCCHIPS – pre-race blood sample. Hampered approaching the winning post with a lap remaining when attempting to avoid SLICK AND SUAVE, which shifted out when not quite clear, then became unbalanced and broke stride. Trainer/driver Miss G Panella was advised that the provision of last chance to race truly would be placed on the horse’s racing record.
DAVIDS TIGER – Galloped away when the start was affected. Connections were advised that the gelding would now be placed outside the mobile barrier draw. Broke stride free of any external factors passing the 900 metres. Connections were further advised that prior to racing again DAVIDS TIGER must perform tractably in an official qualifying trial.
SHINEON BUDDY – Raced roughly for a short distance passing the 500 metres. Then was hampered and forced wider round the home turn when racing outside the SUPERIOR ART when shifted out despite the efforts of its driver.
RACE 3 – ASK LISTEN ENCOURAGE CHECK-IN PACE – 1609 metres.
SPARKLING SUE – Had to be checked inside the metres when the tempo on the marker peg line eased slightly.
TASMANS DELIGHT – Hampered and had to be shifted wider passing the 850 metres when runners to its inside were checked when the tempo eased.
HEAVENLY TURBO – Inconvenienced momentarily due to the steadying tempo inside the 900 metres.
REIGN MAKER – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations. Post-race swab sample.
NASHVILLE BART – Pre-race blood sample.
JIMMY STEEL NZ – Had to be checked inside the 900 metres when racing behind HEAVENLY TURBO.
RACE 4 – ASK R U OK ANYDAY PACE – 1609 metres.
KATASTROPHEE – pre-race blood sample. Hung in passing the 900 metres, shifted in and contacted marker pegs. Post-race swab sample.
SIERRA MIST – When questioned in relation to the performance driver C Formosa explained that the filly travelled relatively well in a rearward position however when attempting to improve, she was obliged to race wide on the track which was a considerable disadvantage and resulted in its disappointing finishing position. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Connections were advised that a poor performance waring would be placed on the filly’s racing record.
COOGEE – Held up for some distance in the early part of the home straight and had to be shifted out inside the 100 metres to be driven forward.
JEREMY LOU – Hampered and had to be eased near the 100 metres when COOGEE shifted out when not quite clear.
PEPPI GRATZ – Broke stride free of any external factors rounding the turn after the start and galloped excessively. Trainer/driver Miss G Panella was advised that a stand down period of 14 days would now be applied and prior to racing again the gelding must perform tractably in two official qualifying trials.
RACE 5 – MATES4HARNESS PACE – 1609 metres
HE SAID SHE SAID – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations.
IM BELIEBER – Obliged to race wide rounding the turn after the start in attempting to avoid LACHIES IDEAL.
DOUGS RULES – post-race swab sample.
MAXY BOMBER – Broke stride free of any external factors near the 200 metres and galloped. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.
EBBONY STORM – Obliged to race wide for some distance rounding the turn after the start when attempting to avoid LACHIES IDEAL. Broke stride free of any external factors near the 200 metres. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing record.
LACHIES IDEAL – Pulled hard during the score up and in the early stages prior to breaking stride free of any other factor. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.
JUST BLING IT – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations. Driver C Formosa was fined $50 under AR 162(1)(h), for failing to drive the gelding into position at the start.
RACE 6 – NSWSOA FIRST PAST THE POST BONUS PACE – 1980 metres
TWO CRACKED CORN – Held up for some distance approaching the home turn behind CORAL CAYS and had to be continually steadied.
LEAVE IT TO LUCY – Raced roughly for a short distance after the start and lost ground. Trainer/driver Mr T Ison was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing record.
CORAL CAYS – When questioned in relation to the tactics adopted and the overall performance driver G Panella explained that whilst it was not her pre-race plan to lead, she obtained that position with ease and without challenge. She said that the mare failed to travel strongly at any stage and she was obliged to activate gear passing the winning post with a lap remaining in an effort to extract a response. She said that after this CORAL CAYS was continually under pressure and despite continued urging it ran to the finish in a disappointing manner. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

THREE RIVERS NZ – Post-race swab sample.
MISTER CHEESE – Pulled hard during the middle stages.
THE IRISH EAGLE – Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight.
COTE DAZUR NZ – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 7 – NSWSOA FIRST PAST THE POST BONUS PACE – 1980 metres
VINTAGE EDITION – Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride free of any external factors shortly after the start and galloped. Trainer/driver Mr M Formosa was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.
AVENGER NZ – Post-race swab sample.
TINNY MAHONEY – When questioned in relation to the performance driver J Turnbull explained, that he had been instructed to lead and drove with vigour in the early stages to achieve this. He said that after being unable to cross the lead time was faster than anticipated and his drive was obliged to race without cover. He stated that when he attempted to restrain outside the lead, the tempo had eased significantly and the gelding raced fiercely and would not settle, which in his opinion was the reason it gave ground inside the 200m. He said that had he been able to establish the lead his drive would have been better advantaged. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had a slight nasal discharge.
BAT MATSON – Hampered and had to be shifted wider shortly after the start when attempting to avoid VINTAGE EDITION.
PARATROUPER – Hampered and had to be shifted wider rounding the turn after the start when attempting to avoid VINTAGE EDITION.
CUT GLASS NZ – Broke stride free of any external factors rounding the turn after the start and galloped for a short distance. Trainer/driver Mr S Ison advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.
RACE 8 –TAMWORTH EQUINE VET CENTRE PACE – 1609 metres
LAST TIME JOE – Pre-race blood sample. When questioned in relation to the performance drier D Jack explained, that the gelding failed to travel at any stage of the race and when placed under pressure inside the 500 metres did not respond and was disappointing in the run to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
FAST TRACKER – Held up over the concluding stages and unable to be driven to the finish.
METALLICA MAN – Trainer/driver T Ison’s left foot slipped below the sulky rest for a short distance approaching the home turn when racing in restricted room tight on the inside of CHEZZ DALE NZ.
