S Grima stated he had to make more use of ARCHIE MOTH in the early stages than expected and once he was able to obtain the lead the gelding was intractable. He added it would be his intention to apply gear changes prior to the gelding’s next race start which may include a change of bit and he may add block blinkers. S Grima was advised ARCHIE MOTH would be stood down form racing until it can complete one satisfactory requalifying trial for what was deemed to be an unsatisfactory performance.
