RACE 1 – GLEN MIA (ACT) PTY LTD PACE – 1770 metres

BONJORGE – Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.

NIFTY AMBITION – Pre-race blood sample.

LETSTACOBOUTIT – Hung in and contacted a number of marker pegs rounding the final turn.

SYNCOPATED SHUFFLE – Driver J Locke was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that entering the first turn he has permitted SYNCOPATED SHUFFLE to shift down the track when not fully clear of CENTREFIRE resulting in that runner being placed in restricted room before losing its rightful running.

PENCIL ME IN – Driver H Ross was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that leaving the 150 metres he has permitted PENCIL ME IN to shift wider when not clear of READY TO DREAM NZ resulting in a short jostle with that runner causing it to be taken up the track and away from the wheel of PENCIL ME IN. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.

READY TO DREAM NZ – Hampered passing the 150 metres when being taken away from PENCIL ME IN when that runner was shifted up the track without the required clearance.

CENTREFIRE – Hampered entering the first turn when being placed in restricted room to the inside of SYNCOPATED SHUFFLE when that runner was shifted down the track without the required clearance. Improved three wide form the 1400 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.

WARRAWEES SHOUT – Out of position at the start and will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 2 – WATTY’S RURAL & DOMESTIC FENCING PACE – 1770 metres

ACE OF REASON – Hung out during the score up and was slow to begin. Stewards questioned Trainer/Driver T Phillips in relation to the above market expectation performance of the gelding ($81) when successful in tonight’s event. Mr Phillips explained that he received a good run in transit and was satisfied with the sectionals and the tempo of the event which suited his gelding. Mr Phillips noted of recent times the horse had been competing in faster mile rates which had not suited. Post-race swab sample.

FLY OVER STATES – Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.

BOUND FOR TROUBLE – Failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 61.6 metres and finished in last position. In view of the mare’s disappointing performance, BOUND FOR TROUBLE was issued its last chance to race truly. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

ACHY BREAKY ARK – Pre-race blood sample.

THIS TIME NZ – Hung in and paced roughly rounding the final turn. Stewards questioned Trainer/Driver J Painting in relation to the seemingly disappointing performance of the mare when failing to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 28.2 metres ($3.40) and finishing in 9th position. Mr Painting explained THIS TIME NZ has been racing inconsistently of recent times, and he was disappointed in the mare’s performance in tonight’s event.

MACHX THE STRANGER – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1400 metres.

MAJOR ISSUES – Hampered shortly after the start when ACE OF REASON was slow to begin.

MY ULTIMATE FRANCO NZ – Unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight and was not fully tested.

SHES GOT A REASON – Raced three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.

 

RACE 3 – OSKAR MEMORIALS PACE – 1770 metres

JEKAMIAS NZ – Pre-race blood sample. over raced whilst leading the event. Shifted out under pressure in the home straight on the final occasion. Post-race swab sample.

LETTYS REASON – Caught racing three wide in the early stages until working forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1350 metres. Stewards questioned Driver J Painting in relation to the disappointing performance of the gelding when failing to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 20.7 metres ($5) and finished in 8th position. Mr Painting explained he was disappointed in the gelding’s performance and noted connections had advised after the event the gelding may not have backed up well from its previous run on 7 September 2026 at Goulburn.

ROCKET BOY – Raced three wide in the early stages until working forward to find the position outside the leader passing the 1150 metres.

 

RACE 4 – DIFFERENTIAL & MECHANICAL SERVICES PACE – 1770 metres

MOVINTOHELLANDBACK – Unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight.

LADY ALLEGRA – Pre-race blood sample. Improved three wide from the 1200 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1000 metres. Failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 19 metres and finished in last position.

CHOCOLATE DELIGHT – Checked between the 400 metres and 200 metres behind the weakening LADY ALLEGRA. Unable to secure clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.

ROCK THE JET – Pre-race blood sample.

SYENITE – Raced roughly shortly after the start for which the gelding was issued its last chance in the mobile barrier draw. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 5 – LONSDALE AUTO ELECTRICS 3YO PACE – 1770 metres

BROOKLYNS GEM – Raced roughly after the start and again raced roughly entering the back straight on the final occasion for which the filly was issued its last chance in the mobile barrier draw and last chance to race truly. Checked between the 400 metres and 200 metres behind the weakening WHATTA YA UP TAA.

SHE SHIMMERS – Raced in restricted room to the inside of A WISH GRANTED from the 100 metres before becoming unbalanced and galloping passing the 50 metres when racing in restricted room and contacting the nearside wheel of A WISH GRANTED. Driver D Cernovskis was advised to exercise care in similar circumstances and ensure if he is racing in restricted room, he does so in a cautious manner.

A WISH GRANTED – Had its near side sulky wheel contacted approaching the 50 metres by SHE SHIMMERS which was racing in restricted room to its inside. Shifted in marginally between the 100 metres and the 50 metres which placed SHE SHIMMERS in further restricted room.

WHATTA YA UP TAA – Gave ground from the 400 metres to be beaten 34.4 metres and finished in last position.

SNIPERS FIRE – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 6 – TAB.COM PACE – 2170 metres

VIN NUMBER – Unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight.

IDEAL IN DREAMS – Pre-race blood sample. Declared a late scratching acting on veterinary advice at 8.25pm in that during the preliminary IDEAL IN DREAMS bled from both nostrils and acting under the provisions of Rule 101B(3)(a) the mare was stood down for 3 months and until a veterinary certificate of fitness is submitted and also until it completes one requalifying trial.

BENJAMIN – Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to obtain the lead passing the 1600 metres. Post-race swab sample.
