RACE 1 – QUAYLE MILLING PACE – 1720 metres

IRK MCGLURK – Post-race swab sampled.

SERGEANT STRINGER – Fractious during the early part of the score-up, connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance in the draw.

ALTIANO – Hung-in rounding the home turn.

HOOKED ON WINNING NZ – Pre-race swab sampled. Started from outside the second row after being made an outside the draw horse in mobile races at Cowra on the 13^th of September.

GABBYS SPORTSTAR – Examined by the Club Veterinarian pre and post-race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared of any significant abnormalities. Inconvenienced behind the tiring SERGEANT STRINGER and raced roughly as a result approaching the 200 metres.

 

RACE 2 – TRIMECH PACE – 1720 metres

VALENTINI – Hung-in and contacted marker pegs entering the first turn.

ALWAYSATTHEBEACH – Post-race swab sampled.

LOLLIPOP – Pre-race swab sampled.

BETTOR BRILLIANCE – Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event.

TULHURST PEBBLES – Held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.

MILLWOOD MIKI – Placed back in the draw for future mobile start races.

 

RACE 3 – YOUNG CELLARS 3YO PACE – 1720 metres

BIG FROST – Driver M McCaffery was issued with a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that near the 200 metres he shifted the colt out when not sufficiently clear of AUGUST STAR which was inconvenienced.

TULHURST BARRACUDA – Raced roughly momentarily upon entering the home straight.

MINOR PREMIER – Post-race swab sampled.

CAPTAIN AMELIAH – Broke gait free of interference rounding the first turn, for which a warning was issued.

AUGUST STAR – Raced roughly momentarily approaching the 200 metres. Inconvenienced near the 200 metres when BIG FROST shifted out.

HEZA VINCENT – Pre-race swab sampled. Driver J O’Shea was queried regarding the below market expectations performance of the gelding, he stated that he was a bit disappointed with its run tonight. He added that it didn’t appear to handle the track especially when asked to improve three wide from near the 600 metres and was then pushed out wider from near the 400 metres which made it more difficult to make up ground.

 

RACE 4 – SOUTH WEST TRACTORS PACE – 1720 metres

KEAYANG JIGSAW – Pre-race swab sampled.

MARYVILLE ALFIE – Held up for clear running until leaving the 100 metres.

HES CHIMING – Hung-in rounding the turns throughout the race, and gave ground rounding the home turn as a result of hanging-in. Hung-out under pressure in the home straight. Given the gelding’s racing manners and its recent record, connections were advised that it would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial.

WATCH ME RAIDER – Post-race swab sampled.

YAREADYFREDDY – Broke gait free of interference rounding the first turn, for which a warning was issued.

 

RACE 5 – POPPA'S FUDGE FACTORY PACE – 1720 metres

STAR CONNECTION – Raced three wide without cover from near the 1200 metres, before tiring over the concluding stages.

COMPLICATED – Pre-race swab sampled. Broke its near-side hind hopple loop leaving the 600 metres resulting in the mare breaking gait when leading. The hopples were inspected following the race and found to be in a condition that they would be expected to cope with the stresses of racing.

BARKWAY THOMAS – Tired over the concluding stages of the race.

SIR VINCENT – Held up for clear running until approaching the 100 metres. Post-race swab sampled.

MICKILLATIGER – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn.

 

RACE 6 – TURNERS FURNITURE ONE 2YO COLTS & GELDINGS PACE – 1720 metres

LOCHINVAR COOGEE – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.

MACH ROUGE – Pre-race swab sampled.

CUSTOMBUILT – Raced roughly for a short distance near the 1200 metres.

KING SHOOBEE – Galloped out as the start was effected for which a warning was issued. Broke gait free of interference near the 1400 metres, given the circumstances and the gelding’s record, connections were advised that it would be stood down from racing for a period of 14 days and would be required to perform 2 re-qualifying trials.

EZZRA – Raced roughly for a short distance rounding the turn approaching the 600 metres. Driver R Walker was reprimanded under Rule 170(1)(a) for dropping his foot from the sulky rest near the 200 metres.

 

RACE 7 – T & D STOCKFEEDS 2YO FILLIES PACE – 1720 metres

SHOWEMHOW – Post-race swab sampled.

SNAPPY DUCHESS – Pre-race swab sampled.

NAES GOT CLASS – Hung-out after the start and raced roughly as a result.

NOOGALEEK OFFKILTA – Hung-out during the score-up.

WHOLE LOTTA LITTLE – Hung-in, contacted marker pegs and broke gait leaving the 1000 metres, for which a warning was issued.

 

RACE 8 – THE TAB APP PACE – 2100 metres

TINNYSMEDAD – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn.

DUNNA HAMMY – Pre-race swab sampled.

GEE WHIZZING – Broke gait during the score-up and a false start was declared,  given it was only the gelding’s third race start connections were advised that it would be placed outside the draw for future mobile start races. Raced roughly after the start and as result locked wheels with GEORGES WORLD and was checked and broke gait. Raced roughly at various stages throughout the race, connections were advised the gelding would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial.

BOY STUNNER – Fractious in the early part of the score-up at the second attempt to start the race, for which a warning was issued, and was out of position at the start. Driver S Adams was found guilty of a charge under Rule 162(1)(g) for starting from the incorrect barrier position, and was fined the sum of $200.

ONEDARKNIGHT NZ – Post-race swab sampled.

GEORGES WORLD – Locked wheels with GEE WHIZZING approaching the first turn, when that runner raced roughly, and was checked and broke gait.
